Following just after the High Holidays, the celebration of Sukkot is always one of the most joyous occasions of the Jewish calendar year.
Tribeca Synagogue's volunteers will once again construct a beautiful sukkah on our plaza, a place where our community can come throughout the holiday to perform the mitzvot that honor our history of the Exodus from Egypt.
The Synagogue will offer two catered dinners to be served outdoors under the canopy of the sukkah, during the first two nights of the holiday,
We hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to participate in this festive community celebration, enjoying delicious food and drink with friends in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
We are offering lunches for sale Chol Hamoed days and Morning Minyan Breakfast in the Sukkah.
We have two additional events you will be interested in. On Saturday, October 15th, Shabbat Chol HaMoed, we will be having our annual Cholent Bake-off during Kiddush. For the bake-off, Members offer us their own versions of this traditional dish. Members who are interested in offering up their own Cholent, please contact the office: office@tribecasynagogue.org. (We also have recipes from prior year participants on line.)
In the evening of October 17th, please join us for our Simchat Torah Party. Help celebrate the conclusion of our annual cycle of public Torah readings, and the beginning of a new cycle. Spend the evening with us dancing, singing, and rejoicing.
